BILLY ROGERS - MISSION STATEMENT

The foremost mission is to be "about my Fathers business"---PERIOD.

Knowing by the Word..."All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." (John 1:4)(Eph 1:3-5)

I desire no more than to TRULY follow, love and serve Christ Jesus .  (Matt 22:37) 

"What do you seek?" (John 1:37)   

I desperately seek the plans and purposes Father has for my life.  I seek them through obedience and my personal relationship with Jesus. (Matt 6:33)  I tried it my way in my own "understanding" (Prov. 3:5-6) for far to long, much like Jonah.   But, by faith "out of weakness were made strong" (Heb 11:34)

I seek to "abide" in Christ Jesus. (John 15:4)

I seek to be a doer of the Word. (James 1:16-22) (Luke 11:28)

I seek to spread the Gospel as a witness and by music. (Mark 1:17) 

I seek the secrets of the Lord revealed by the Spirit of God through His Word and revelation.  (Jer 29:11-13) (Matt 7:7) (Eph 1:17).  

I seek the hidden truths and power hidden in Jesus parables (Matt 13:34-35) far past my salvation which Jesus made freely available through His ultimate sacrifice. I seek Christ to be Lord over my life not only Savior.

I seek to maintain "clean hands and a pure heart" (PS. 24:4)

"His secret is with the righteous" (Prov 3:32)

I seek to possess the full riches of Christ no matter the cost. (John 15:20) .  Meaning, I DON'T want just enough faith to get by.  I seek to worship.  (John 4:23-24)

I seek to continually and fervently press from an outer court existence to an inner court / upper room experience through Christ Jesus.  (Rom 12:11) 

I seek wisdom and counsel in my courses of action.

I seek to cross all denominational and ethnic barriers in ministry. (Luke 9:50)

I seek to be a watchman on the wall.  I seek to be "in the world not of the world."

I seek to please the Lord and be "about my Father's business" not be a pleaser of people.  By seeking such a faithful and intimate relationship with Father whether I am praised or criticized by people I desire it to not affect me either way.

I seek to glorify and worship the Lord in all things.

I seek transparency and the power of the Holy Ghost.  (Mark 16:16-18) (Dan 11:32) (John 4:48) "greater works then these shall you do in my name"

I seek the "spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him" (Eph 1:17)

I seek to be like flavorful salt. (Mark 9:50)

I seek to feed the sheep. (John 21:16-17)

I seek to visit the prisoner's.  (Matt 25:36) "I was in prison and you came to me."

I seek "to go out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in" (Luke 14:22).  To "show mercy to those who's faith is waivering" (Matt 16:19).  "Rescue those by snatching them from the flames" (Jude 1:22-23).

I seek to have "I" stay out the operating procedures of my Fathers business unless directed by the offices and authority of Father , Son and Holy Ghost.  (1John 5:7)

I seek to give all glory and honor to the great "I AM".

I seek to bless and serve (Matt 20:28).  I seek to operate only and fully in my gifts.

I seek the King of King's and Lord of Lord's. (Rev 19:11-16)

Last but not least, I seek daily in missions and stewardship great or small, at the end of the day when I say, Father am I pleasing You, my soul rejoices at His reply!
